Electrical 3: Wired Batteries

We've been steadily working through the wiring of all things electrical. It's not super exciting to look at, but here's where we are.

We placed the batteries, which involved screwing some base plates to the floor, which hold the batteries down with the help of velcro straps.

Two lithium batteries, strapped into trays, in front of an open cabinet of electrical equipment.

I also ordered our hugest of huge wires, for the carrying of much current. I ordered them finished with terminals on either end (the parts where we can bolt them to wherever they're connecting) because crimping wire this size is kind of a thing. Look at those heckers!

A cabinet of electrical equipment connected by wires of various sizes, some rather large.

Here's one of them alongside my thumb, which I think is a fairly moderately-sized thumb.

A thumb alongside a wire. They are similarly sized.

Anyway, now you're all caught up. It's not much to show off at this point, but we'll get to some more photogenic stuff soon, I bet!
